An enthralling match at White Hart Lane this evening saw Chelsea and Tottenham score four goals a piece to end honours even on the night.

Some great football from Chelsea, and Joe Cole in particular, took us into the lead on a number of occasions, however pressing football from Tottenham, and a shaky performance from the Chelsea rearguard, combined to allow Spurs back into the game each time.

Chelsea (4-3-3): Cudicini, Ferreira (Shevchenko 89), Carvalho, Terry (c), A Cole; Essien, Makelele, Lampard; J Cole (Ballack 82), Drogba, Kalou (Alex 70).

Goals Drogba 3, Essien 19, J Cole 51, 79
Booked J Cole 35, A Cole 45
