CFCnet is giving every UK reader a FREE copy of Blue Gold. Just register your details, answer a few questions and the DVD will be in the post. It’s that simple.

Blue Gold contains extended highlights of some of Chelsea’s best games in the Premiership between the years 1992 and 2003.

The DVD, hosted by Chelsea TV’s Neil Barnett, looks at:

  • Tottenham 1, Chelsea 2 (1992)
  • Chelsea 4, Tottenham 3 (1994)
  • Chelsea 2, Arsenal 1 (1995)
  • Chelsea 5, Boro 0 (1996)
  • Chelsea 3, West Ham 1 (1996)
  • Tottenham 1, Chelsea 6 (1997)
  • Blackburn 3, Chelsea 4 (1998)
  • Chelsea 5, Man Utd 0 (1999)
  • Liverpool 2, Chelsea 2 (2001)
  • Man Utd 0, Chelsea 3 (2001)
  • Chelsea 2, Liverpool 1 (2003)

These are iconic games, yet for vastly different reasons. New managers, new players, variations in tactics and playing styles all make for compelling viewing. But really it’s about knowing your history.

Younger fans need to watch the Hoddle / Peacock / Stein / Spencer / Wise / Gullit era of the early nineties which saw the start of the modern day Chelsea revolution.

Then we have the beautiful team of the late nineties with Zola / Poyet / Petrescu / Lebeouf / Hughes / Vialli / Wise / Flo / Desailly which saw us lift a number of major trophies.

Finally we have the start of Claudio Ranieri’s era and the demolition of Man Utd 3-0 at Old Trafford as well as our most important game since 1983, when we beat Liverpool to qualify for the Champions League. Following that game, Roman Abramovich bought the Club and the rest you can say is history.

This is a massive DVD and best of all it’s completely free. No strings attached. Just follow this link, answer some questions and the DVD will be delivered to your door free of charge.
