Chelsea progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League courtesy of goals from Kalou and the returning Drogba. It wasn’t a high performance display but the Blues had enough of the play to warrant the win.
Chelsea finish second in the group to Roma who beat a disappointing Bordeaux side two nil in Italy.
The draw for the next stages will be held on December 19th. Looks like another meeting with Barcelona as Chelsea can’t draw Liverpool in the first knockout stage.
