Dear Mr Kenyon,

In light of your recent announcement that there will be, win or lose, no parade for the FA Cup again this year, is it now safe to assume that unless we've won the league with four games to go, thereby giving you time to organise something, that there will probably never be another parade for Chelsea supporters?

If the FA Cup Final is a risk, it's pretty safe to assume that the final of the Champions League is a far greater risk financially due to the likely much greater quality of opponent.

I'm sorry that 40,000 people couldn't make it to Stamford Bridge for the last game of the season, but we didn't win the Carling Cup, we didn't win the Champions League, and we can't win the league now. Further, it's a real shame that so many people returned their tickets for the cup final because, well, what with all that blind faith illustrated throughout the season, the additional expenditure and chance that we might not actually win anything is all a bit too much of a risk really.

You couldn't even be bothered to organise a decent beam back for the cup final, could you? Instead you chose to host a celebrity charity even on the Stamford Bridge pitch.

Thanks for further devaluing the greatest domestic cup competition in the world with your cynical approach, and I'm sure you'll be able to fill the Bridge every week with fly-by visitors who couldn't actually give a toss about the club at all.

Finally, thanks for not giving something back to the fans who've followed the team all over Europe at great expenditure.

Yours, etc.
