		<description>Dear CFCnet

As a Chelsea Pitchowner I think we have to separate a few of the issues here
that appear to go in different directions.
1. Any official of CPO is duty bound to uphold the constitution of CPO.
This does not preclude that individual from having and airing a controversial opinion which may eventually lead to their removal from office by a democratic vote.
2. The foundation of CPO by KB (one of his better decisions) came about as a protective measure to ring fence the club from speculators and was the direct result of Ken&#039;s struggle to recover from the near disaster caused by some members of the Mears family selling out the ground to property interests.
I don&#039;t believe the original concept was designed to prevent Chelsea Football Club from ever moving to an 80,000 state of the art stadium that would humble the likes of Man Utd and Arsenal to name just a couple.

3. The new financial guidelines shortly to be imposed on clubs will mean gate receipts are very important and an expansion of Stamford Bridge to a break even capacity may prove impossible. Penalties could be severe and I for one don&#039;t want to see a points deduction because of a rule breach.

4. The ownership of the brand name Chelsea Football Club is a legal issue that can be proved or disproved in the courts.

In summary I have been a Chelsea supporter since 1965 and have seen all the ups and downs. Whereas I love SB and its history we may have to be practical and move to a fantastic new home not too far away to grow and develop into the world&#039;s biggest club.
I for one would gladly trade in my CPO shareholding to guarantee that.

Comeonyoublues.
