can we sign back ARJEN ROBBEN? that could be the best signing ever as it has been the last time we signed him from psv. He is infact better than Messi at his best.

Kakuta should be given a chance as he is the best prospect for chelsea. But Robben would be a miracle if we can get him back.
no other player would interest me otherwise.

I liked the look of some of the French guys, good attitude, team spirit and all that. The England team sparkled and fizzed with energy in abundance, especially the young lad up front on his own, Rooney. Of course the big fellah Heskey could do a great Makelele holding role. On a serious note, I actually thought Landon Donovan would be a good little buy, bit of a bench warmer but can pick a pass and got great spirit. Otherwise, get Aguero and let our kids play

I have to be honest. There is a lot of great talent in Africa and they are cheap. The problem is they rarely move straight to the big clubs. Smaller clubs pick them out, when they shine, big clubs will have to end up paying 3 or 4 times their value.

Kwadwo Asamoah is very good but he didn’t have a very good tournament. His lack of playing time at Udinese negatively affected his world cup tournament performance.

Annan as a holding midfielder is class but I’m not sure he is Chelsea quality.

Andre Ayew is a kid that would get better if he plays with world class players. He might not be a Malouda but this kid has drive and determination. This is a kid who Olympic Marseille kept loaning to lower division clubs and wanted to kick out because they felt he was not good enough.

Andre decided to prove himself with the U20 world cup. He captained his side to be the first African team to win the U20 world cup. Remember Essien and Muntari came runners up in that competition. Plus he had a good world cup.

Last season, he helped the team he was loaned out to get into the French League. It would be nice if we had him as a squad player.

I think we should defo sign Schweinsteiger as we are short in midfield and he has been outstanding in the World Cup. We need to sell Ferrera, Carvahilo, Di Santo and Deco to raise some funds. Another player who would add something to the squad is Honda of Japan. I think we dont need to go mad as we have some really good youngsters coming back from loans or through the reserves / youth team.

Annan would seem a decent buy but I remember that a couple of years ago when we were really interested in him and it seemed to die down. Bayern would be loathe to part with any of their stars and Pedro would be an impossible signing. I think you might have missed putting in Suarez in the list. He’s had a good WC and also has a good work ethic and skill on the ball. His finishing is subliminal and he’s also had a great season at Ajax .

Sanchez deffinately looks like a talented little player and lets face it, we can’t rely on Benayoun to make the right wing role his own. If he is going for around 15mil it may be worth chelsea taking a look. If we buy this player our team is pretty much complete.

Maybe we can think of Maxico Carlos Salcido, of course he is not the young one but showed the pace as good as ashley cole. If Ashley Cole is lured by Real Madrid then we can look at this option, good experience and plays in Europe with PSV also his contract will be ending on 2012 with a price tag of 4.5 million pound.
Also Ramos of Spain has been a delight to watch with his forward breaking runs and beautiful ball control.

I was very impressed with Ghana’s defensive midfielder Annan. He reads the game very well, he seems to always be in the right place to break up attacks. When he gets the ball he never gives it away. He gets it and gives it simple and I think every team needs a player like that to keep things ticking. Could he consistently make the step up to our level? I don’t know. However, he would be relatively cheap to buy from Rosenborg and has the potential to be a makelele type figure for us.
