When Gianluca Vialli asks for more commitment from his players you would expect a positive reaction. Frank Leboeuf took it as a queue to defend like a lemming.

He seems blissfully unaware of the level of effort expected by the Chelsea supporters. If he is to be part of the expected end of season clear out there will not be too many complaints.

The Frenchman had an absolute ‘mare and to compound his miserable afternoon he feigned injury when he was substituted in the first half after he had been at fault for Henry’s first goal.

Vialli’s decision to play Flo in the midfield was baffling. The tactics made less sense than a Gustavo Poyet interview.

Chelsea shipped a second goal early in the second half and it was all over. The Blues’ attack has less teeth than a geriatric canary. Poyet did pull one goal back with ten minutes left but the come back never really looked on.

You would have thought that with FA Cup Final places up for grabs that there would have been more of an effort. But the team let the fans down today, badly.
