If it was Rafa’s plan to fire up Fergie and his team so that they would beat Chelsea today it certainly worked. Mind you, to be honest I don’t think Chelsea would have got a result today even before Rafa hatched his cunning plan before the nations media. Did he really have notes on a piece of paper?

Chelsea had a fair share of the play for the first 45mins but in additional time Man Utd scored with just about the last kick of the half. In the second half Man Utd scored two more goals and that’s about all I can be bothered to write at this moment in time. Even a four hour drive hasn’t inspired me to find a piece of inspiration from today’s game.

As ever there’ll be a debate raging away in the forum, so why not join in? There’s also an opportunity to vote for your man of the match.

I still can’t get my head around what’s going on at the club at the moment so I thought I’d ask my 8 year son for some indication on what he thinks on the way back to the car. He just said “everything”. You know what? He could be right.
