As Chelsea supporters, we owe a debt of gratitude to the benefactor who provided the funds for the “Thank You Guus” banner that was flown prior to the FA Cup Final at Wembley thereby enabling us to show our gratitude to Guus Hiddink for what he did during his time as manager.

Whilst as Chelsea supporters we will never forget Guus Hiddink’s contribution to our club, the fact is that the flag made especially for the Dutchman’s farewell is now defunct.

However, the same benefactor is ready to accept a new design to replace the lettering on the flag and Chelsea supporters are being asked to put forward their ideas for a slogan or an image to decorate the flag that will be displayed at Stamford Bridge next season prior to home matches.

A prize of a pair of tickets for any game at Stamford Bridge next season will be given to the person whose slogan or design is chosen to go onto the flag.

Please send you slogan or design (in jpeg format please) via email to admin@cfcnet.co.uk and we will pass your entry on to the judges. The closing date for entries will be Sunday 26 July 2009.

Don’t forget to include your full contact details.
