With the majority of our first team still on their holidays, a lot of our reserve squad have had to step-up to the first team within the past week or so. This has been due to the fact that a section of our first team players came back on July 22 and still need to get fit after their holidays – The English contingent come back to pre-season training on Monday July 26. So, when the reserves stepped out against Crawley Town on Saturday the team was made up of youth and some reserves that had just made the journey from Amsterdam. Consequently we lost 3-0.
Continuing on the subject of our reserves – our first reserve game has now been confirmed as a 7.00pm kick off against Everton, on Monday August 10 at Stamford Bridge. For Ticket News And Reaction To Our 3-0 Defeat To Crawley click on the link.
