Welcome to CFCnet’s Monday transfer roundup feature, we have news on Hulk, Lukaku, Lewandowski, Cavani, Oscar and De Bruyne, amongst others!

Off the back of another faily decent pre-season performance against a classy PSG side, it looks set that we have an immense attacking force already with the likes of Marin, Hazard and Paizon already proving they’re worth. But there is no secret to the fact that Chelsea wish to add to that. And we very much still need a right back.

We’ll start with the Oscar saga. Sky Sports have yet again gone with the story ‘Blues agree Oscar deal’, which is becoming a very familiar title to their articles regarding Oscar, they’ve used it three times now! This time it is said that Internacional president, Giovanni Luigi has confirmed that ‘a verbal agreement has been agreed between both clubs’. And as we reported a couple of days back, Oscar has completed his medical here. So all it would seem that is left to do now, is pen the deal and confirm it officially. Which as we’ve said all along, will be done after the Olympics so as not to affect Oscar’s performances. One thing for sure is, Chelsea have got themselves a real gem whether £25 million is too much or not.

The Hulk saga could well go down as one of the longest and dramatic in the clubs history. At the start of the window, all the supporters and even the media were convinced that Hulk was a Chelsea player. Since then, it has stalled due to the two clubs not being able to agree on a fee, but the talks have always been on-going in a bid to come to an agreement. A deal will be confirmed, as long as Porto are prepared to get real and meet somewhere in the middle on a fee. Hulk has been diplomatic throughout, but struggles to hide his desire to play for the European Champions and recently admitted that “My future is in the hands of God, when it comes to transfers, I leave everything with my agent. At the moment I am concentrating on the Olypmics” Another diplomatic response from the impressive Brazilian, again not ruling out a move. I believe that Porto are trying to get as much as they can from this deal, but will back down as time goes by, this could be another deadline day deal.

Meanwhile, it has been reported that Napoli striker Edinson Cavani, will cost Chelsea £78 million. If that is the case, interest will cool, Chelsea will not pay anywhere near that. But they do want to buy a striker. And it would seem that another centre forward target, Robert Lewandowski has also been over-priced and essentially priced out of a move to Chelsea, with Dotmund standing firm on they’re ludicrous £35 million price tag on the player. The same old story that as soon as Chelsea are interested, the price goes up, its becoming an embarrassing farce for the clubs involved and I hope that Chelsea stick with this attitude that they will not fold to these demands.

Fresh reports are surfacing this morning that striker Romelu Lukaku, who yet again really impressed against Seattle Sounders, is very close to agreeing to join Fulham on loan this season. I believe this move will rest upon whether Chelsea sign a centre forward or not this summer. If they don’t, then there is no doubt that Lukaku will stay. With the amount of fixtures on the calendar, and as a back up striker to Torres, he will get plenty of game time this season with Chelsea.

We still need that right back though, and for me it will be Cesar Azpilicueta, Chelsea are still in negotiations for the Spanish full back, who wants to move to Chelsea. His club however, Marseille do not want to let him go. I believe a deal can be reached here, but again, it could be another deadline day fiasco, can Chelsea afford to take that gamble?

Another player who could well be going on loan this season is Belgium winger, Kevin De Bruyne. He has been quoted saying this morning “for me, it is important to play, and if it’s not at Chelsea, I will go to another club to play”. Understandably if he cannot be guaranteed his desired game time this season, then he will need to go out on loan, he is too good to sit on the bench.

Oh, and Ashley Cole has twitter now, although I really did struggle to believe this, but it seems the official Chelsea account have confirmed that it is actually him, so I’ve been told. Crazy.
