Chelsea youngster Josh McEachran has been quick to dismiss the rumours that he has demanded show down talks with boss Roberto Di Matteo this morning.

Last night various news papers falsely reported that Josh was unhappy at Chelsea, and needed talks with Robbie to see where he stands and what his future at the European Champions entailed.

The England youth international has fast become a fans favourite at the Bridge, and looks to be one of the hottest prospects in England. He hasn’t had as much game time as he wanted, and even suffered a frustrating loan spell last season at Swansea, but with that said, he has not intention of giving up his Chelsea dream.

Whilst on tour in America with the squad, Josh said this morning via his Twitter account “I’ve not once said that i “DEMAND” talks with Di Matteo! Dont know where the paper has got that from! Off to sleep now good night!

A case of fake rumours that have quickly been corrected by McEcheran who is more than prepared to stay and fight for a place. In a recent interview he stated “I want to play as many games as I can for Chelsea this season. I’m a Chelsea player and I want to play for Chelsea. But if the manager wants to send me out on loan then that’s up to him at the end of the day”

Clearly the hearty youngster wants to stay and become a key player, and with old guard Frank Lampard needing a replacement soon, I truly believe that man will be Josh McEachran. He has the ability and once he gets regular game time he will become an important player for Chelsea and England.
