According to various sources this morning including The Guardian, Chelsea are ready to make a move for two of West Ham’s attackers Enner Valencia and Diafra Sakho.

It is thought that Jose Mourinho is keen to push through the sale of Andre Schurrle in order to gain a new attacker. The rush seems to be as a result of the FA confirming that they will be charging Diego Costa over the alleged stamp (step) on Liverpool’s Emre Can on Tuesday evening.

Mourinho is now likely to be without Costa for a number of crucial games with the ever inconsistent FA likely to come down hard on The Blues. We have already seen that Mourinho is not confident in the ability of Loic Remy to lead the line and although Didier Drogba can certainly do a job, again the confidence is not their from the Coach.

Valencia and Sakho have been the main force behind West Ham’s resurgence to the top end of the table and have been the focal point of their attacking threat.

According to further reports, Mourinho wants someone in before the game against Manchester City this weekend as they still continue to chase Juan Cuadrado from Fiorentina, and might trigger his release clause of around 35 million Euro’s.
