Both Chelsea and Real Madrid have been closely monitoring the situation between Raheem Sterling and his Club Liverpool, after an offer that has been described as ‘incredible’ by Manager Brendan Rodgers, has now been stalling on the table for over a month now.

Sterling is said to be wanting more money and his current deal runs out in 2017. Meanwhile Rodgers has gone on record today saying that the club will not be offering any more because he does not want his 20-year-old starlet to ‘get too much too young’ as it will sabotage his development.

Jose Mourinho has always admired Sterling and he loves his direct and fast style of play. The England International has been in excellent form for Liverpool this season and the Reds will have to work hard to keep him at the club during the summer, especially if Sterling does reject the offer.

One thing for sure is that Liverpool will not be offering anymore, the ball is firmly in the court of the player.
