Rumours are circulating on Monday afternoon that Chelsea have allowed Thorgan Hazard to join Borussia Monchengladbach on a permanent deal, according to various reputable sources. Somewhat a surprising occurrence having received praise from Jose Mourinho earlier this season after a number of promising performances.

However, many are suggesting that this move is to allow room for hugely talented and highly rated attacking midfielder from Benfica, Talisca. The 21-year Brazilian youth International is gathering high praise in Portugal and it is thought that Mourinho’s contacts in his homeland are strongly advising that Chelsea do all they can to secure his services.

Talisca is also wanted by Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal in a host of Premier League clubs scouting the young starlet, who apparently has a £35 million buyout clause in his contract. He has recently been involved with the Brazil senior setup and is tipped to help spearhead the National side’s overhaul with a wealth of talent coming through.

He’s certainly the type of player that Mourinho enjoys in his sides with his direct pace and skill as well as an energetic work rate. He’s been compared to former Brazil star Rivaldo and Neymar in his style of play but is also been mentioned in the same breath as Yaya Toure, due to his strength and the way he ghosts pasts players with the ball sticking to his feet. Certainly an exciting prospect being monitored by many.
