Welcome to the latest roundup of Chelsea transfer news circulating the globe today as the summer transfer window approaches at a rate of knots….

First up, a man we’ve been talking about in the last few weeks seems to have paved a way for the move to go through. Mauro Icardi told CNN “If there are other clubs who want me, they should discuss this with Inter. If Inter decide to sell me, I’ll pack up and go away”.

The 22-year-old striker has refused to sign a new contract due to the Serie A club not offering his desired amount and this has opened up the door for the Chelsea negotiators to move in, having been scouting the player for some time. Both Didier Drogba and Loic Remy are set to leave this summer making The Blues frontline very thin.

Meanwhile, The Metro have stated that Liverpool are to make a move for Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Oscar. It states no source and merely ‘according to reports’, that Liverpool Manager Brendan Rodgers has been an admirer of Oscar and is monitoring the situation at The Bridge.

Although I can see Oscar leaving this summer, I’m fairly adamant that it will not be to Liverpool or another Premier League club. Having said that, it’s happened before and could happen again (Mata).

Which brings me on to my next piece of news, the Raheem Sterling saga. Still yet to agree a contract with Liverpool and things don’t seem to be getting any better between the club and the player. The England International is frustrated that The Reds have not offered what he wants and are delaying any talks.

We’re all fairly aware that Jose Moruinho admires Raheem Sterling and Chelsea are looking at that situation, so who knows, are we about to see some kind of swap deal involving Oscar? Stranger things have happened.

And finally, Bayern Munich want Eden Hazard….. Yep, and I want to be a millionaire…. Who doesn’t!?
