Good evening and welcome to another transfer news update from CFCnet where we take a look at the potential arrivals and departures at Stamford Bridge this summer as the transfer window draws closer.

First up, some good news in that youngster Mario Pasalic has confirmed that he is arriving back in London this summer in order to sign a new contract with Chelsea after a string of positive communications from the champions. The 20-year old has had a decent season on loan at Elche, making 30 first team appearances and earning his first senior international cap with Croatia. He is expected to head back out on loan for another season of development but sees his long term future at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal may well be tempted to include England international Theo Walcott in some kind of swap deal for Chelsea keeper Petr Cech, according to reports today. Chelsea are interested in Walcott and may use that card in Arsenal’s pursuit of their big goalkeeper.
Another possible swap deal being talked about is the potential of adding Filipe Luis to the Blues pursuit of striker Antoine Griezmann, who wants to move to Chelsea. His current side Atletico Madrid are not keen on any deals for their star man however, they are keen to bring Luis back to La Liga and may well be persuaded by a swap deal. Luis has failed to cement down a starting spot in the Blues eleven with Manager Jose Mourinho opting to go for right footed Cesar Azpilicueta instead.
Finally, Chelsea have joined the list of Premier League sides weighing up an offer for Aston Villa striker Christian Benteke. Owner Roman Abramovich has been interested in the big striker before now and might be one of the few clubs willing to meet the £30 million expected to prize him away from his current club.
