Friday 12 June
Both Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois played as Wales beat Belgium in Cardiff. At this rate Wales might actually qualify for something but you can still get odds on them screwing it up.
Meanwhile in Iceland the Czech Republic lost 2-1 to the hosts but Petr Cech had an effort on target with a header from a late corner.

Saturday 13 June
Denmark beat Ivanovic’s Serbia 2-0 in Copenhagen with Andreas Christensen again making a late appearance. Nemanja Matic also played for Serbia who are crashing out of this group, bottom with only the one point.
Nigeria are in qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations and Kenneth Omeruo played as they beat Chad. Burkina Faso and Bertrand Traore beat Comoros 2-0 in the same competition.

Sunday 14 June
Jack Wilshire scored two as England scraped a win in Slovenia; Wayne Rooney scored the late winner in an entertaining 2-3. Gary Cahill will want a few weeks off after his slip allowed their opener.
Luis Filipe and Willian both played as Brazil beat Peru with an injury time winner in the Copa America. Juan Cuadrado wasn’t so fortunate as Columbia slipped to a scrappy defeat at the hands of Venezuela.
Cesc Fábregas started again as Spain beat Belarus 1-0.
In the Africa Cup of Nations Christian Atsu scored the first goal in a 7-1 win for Ghana over Mauritius. Mohamed Salah scored Egypt’s last goal in a 3-0 win over Tanzania.
