Good morning fellow blues and welcome to Monday’s transfer news update from CFCnet, where we take a look at the latest potential arrivals and departures at Stamford Bridge this summer transfer window.

This morning could reveal the fate of goalkeeper Petr Cech, who as promised, will be meeting with Chelsea officials and management in an attempt to decide on his own future. Cech is expected to leave Chelsea this month in search of first team football, however, manager Jose Mourinho is desperate to keep hold of the club legend and may well be attempting to persuade a stay.

It will be an incredible coup if they manage to convince the big Czech keeper to stay, but I’d not be surprised if he moves on for the first team football that he deserves with his quality.

Sergio Ramos is back in the fray, the 29-year-old versatile defender has apparently grown unhappy at Real Madrid and is disputing a new deal there. Chelsea are a number of clubs who have been monitoring the situation and according to reports, could wade in with a £20 million offer for the experienced Spaniard.

Personally can’t see anything in this at all and I feel the player will stay in Spain for at least another year and see out his contract.

Young English defender John Stones would be a more likely coup, being young and also versatile whilst considering the home grown quota rules. And according to some reports, Chelsea have already made an enquiry to Everton in regards to the availability of the England International. Everton will obviously want to keep their highly rated player, but could well see it more beneficial to cash in and replace with two or three much needed players to improve their own squad. One to keep an eye on for sure.

Finally, reports surfaced from Portuguese publication ‘Record’ today that Radamel Falcao has agreed terms with Chelsea and the deal will be announced next week.

Once again, this move is inevitable I believe and will be announced soon enough.
