Good evening Blues and welcome to Tuesday’s transfer news update from CFCnet, where we take a look at the latest potential arrivals, departures and done deals at Stamford Bridge this summer.

First up, some more news on Pedro. Following on from rumours circulating from just about every major source around, suggesting that Chelsea are in the process of negotiating terms with Barcelona winger Pedro and meeting his release clause.

Pedro himself has confirmed that he has received ‘important offers’ and that his future is uncertain. Barcelona Manager Luis Enrique has retreated to the fact that he is powerless to stop Pedro leaving and that no player can be guaranteed playing time.

This certainly confirms that there is a lot more to this story than just a rumour as it continues to gather solid pace.

Meanwhile, there is apparently going to be another chance for Victor Moses to prove himself in a blue shirt as he is set to be given a place back in the first team squad this season. After Stoke Boss Mark Hughes has confirmed that an offer to keep Moses at Stoke again this season was rejected by Chelsea, it appears that he is featuring in Jose Mourinho’s plans.

Well, that seems like far too many attackers to me if Juan Cuadrado stays and Pedro signs so unless we are actually not planning on signing anyone and Moses is in fact our ‘new signing’, then I struggle to see how this will work, even though I am all for squad depth and Moses can also play as a striker.

Finally, according to reports from South America, Chelsea have ‘agreed a fee’ for Chile International Charles Aranguiz. The Copa America star is said to be in talks with the Stamford Bridge side now ahead of his proposed move to the capital from Internacional.
