Good evening Blues and welcome to Monday nights transfer news update from CFCnet, where we take a look at the potential arrivals, departures and done deals at Stamford Bridge this summer.

First up, news of another player apparently arriving at Stamford Bridge, according to The Times. No I am not about to announce the next big name player to be linked, it is in fact unheard of talent Leon Bailey from Slovakian side Trencin.

The 17-year old has represented his home country Jamaica at youth level and had the chance to join Ajax. He chose his current club in order to get more first team opportunities and now has attracted many more of Europe’s biggest sides. The left footed attacker is highly rated and a hot prospect for the future. Mourinho apparently plans to loan him straight out to Belgian side Racing Genk.

Next up, just about every press source in the UK were this morning reporting that Chelsea are about to make a second offer of £26 million to Everton for defender John Stones. The England International was subject to an initial £20 million offer that was rejected by his club.

Stones however has apparently told his club he is interested in the move and Everton have not ‘categorically rejected’ the offer and only rejected the fee, which perhaps suggests they may be willing to negotiate here.

Mourinho has publicly stated that Stones is his main and only target for this summer now and will do anything to make the purchase. This story is far from over.

Meanwhile, although the sources are not the best, both The Star and The Sun are claiming that Mourinho has decided that Juan Cuadrado will not make the grade at Chelsea, and is prepared to lose £5 million and ship him out to Juventus who are ready with an £18 million offer for the Colombian.

I’m all for giving players a chance and I do hope that he gets more of a chance than this, although I do agree he has been awful so far. The friendly against Paris Saint Germain he was clueless and gave the ball to them more than his own players, I’d like him to prove us wrong though.

The name Moussa Sissoko just doesn’t seem to go away and it is within the same above reports that he has been mentioned again. Off the back of the money for Cuadrado, Mourinho is apparently keen to sign the Newcastle midfielder ahead of Liverpool.

Like I said, lame sources so let’s not read too much in that.

That’s it for now Blues, but remember to follow my Twitter here for the latest updates @cfcneteditor
