Good Morning Blues and welcome to a busy Transfer Centre on this crisp Thursday Morning at CFCnet towers, where we take a look at the latest transfer rumours surrounding the Stamford Bridge club.
There are a few rumours circulating this morning and perhaps after yet another disappointing result in the league last night, many supporters are desperate for some of these names to arrive.
Perhaps one name you will not be familiar with is Charlton star Ademola Lookman. But According to The Independent, this 18-year old forward is wanted and will be subject to a bid from both Chelsea and Manchester United.
Lookman is said to be the hottest prospect in the Championship and a future prospect for the England National side. His club Charlton do not want to sell but the expected £5 million offer could be too much to refuse as the club is in turmoil.
Next up, it has emerged that Tottenham have cooled their interest in West Brom striker Siado Berahino, leaving Chelsea as the favourites to land his signature, this according to The Express. Berahino wants out of his situation and a move to Chelsea looks likely with Loic Remy set to leave and injury problems to Radamel Falcao.
Meanwhile, Toni Kroos could be a genuine target for the club as Spanish publication Fichajes are claiming that Chelsea have officially made contact with the players agent Volker Struth, along with Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United.
The German International apparently wants out of Real Madrid and has told his agent to find him another club, with his suspected £40 million price tag not putting off any potential suitors.
Finally, the Lavezzi saga continues as the latest claims suggest that Chelsea are currently in talks to sign the Argentine International.
Alessandro Moggi, who works with Lavezzi’s agent, Alejandro Mazzoni, claims that Chelsea are interested in signing the player, along with Inter Milan and Barcelona. “Inter are the most interested team at the moment,” Moggi told Sport Mediaset. “There was interest from Barcelona and Chelsea, and we’re talking with the Blues”
