Good Morning Blues and welcome to this game day edition of Transfer Centre from CFCnet, where we take a look at the latest Chelsea transfer rumours during this transfer window.

There have been reports over the last few days linking Brazilian Alexandre Pato with finally making his move to the Premier League. The Corinthians man has always had a desire to play in England and it was looking more likely as Liverpool were in hot pursuit.

However, the latest reports are suggesting that he is in fact close to joining Chelsea for £10 million as his agent flew in to London. this according to The Metro.

The paper picks up on reports in Brazil that suggest Gilmar Veloz is negotiating a deal. “Pato is understood to have been offered an eye-watering salary package by Chinese outfit Tianjin Quanjian, but is willing to accept a considerably lower offer to join Chelsea,”

Meanwhile, The Telegraph are picking up on the heat surrounding Everton’s John Stones, as further clubs step up their interest in the Chelsea transfer target. Stones is a wanted man and after Chelsea had bids rejected in the summer, Manchester City are the latest to be preparing a big money offer for the England International as they look to add to a world class squad for the arrival of Pep Guardiola.

There have been recent whispers of Chelsea’s apparent interest in Southampton striker Graziano Pelle and now his Manager Ronald Koeman has confirmed that the club are waiting until the summer to decide on a new contract offer for the 30-year old Italian.

Pelle has bagged  25 goals in 66 appearances since joining in 2014 and could be seen as a decent fix for Chelsea’s striker problems.
