Various reports in the Spanish press over the last few weeks continuously claim Diego Costa could be on his way back to Atletico Madrid this summer. (Don’t forget to check the latest Online Soccer odds.)

The Spaniard is said to be unhappy at Chelsea and doesn’t like the playing style of the Premier league and would jump at the opportunity of returning back to Atletico especially as Chelsea won’t be playing in the Champions league next season.

Personally, I believe Chelsea can do better than Costa. He doesn’t seem interested in playing for us and there is no point keeping a player against his own wishes.

Aside the fact that he looks uninterested, he can’t seem to stop getting into the bad books of the referees and his constant injury problems means that Chelsea are denied his services every now and then.

If he wants to go back to Spain, Chelsea should let him go. However, Chelsea should sign Antoine Griezmann in exchange for Costa.

Griezmann has always been linked with a move to Chelsea and as they say, there is no smoke without fire. There must be a reason why the media keeps linking the Frenchman with a move to Chelsea?

If Atletico win the Champions league this weekend, Griezmann would have won it all with Atletico and will be ready for a new challenge.

PSG are said to be interested in signing the player but with Cavani looking like he will stay and should be given a proper chance to play for the Parisians, which in my opinion means they won’t be signing Griezmann this summer.

Chelsea can use the good business relationship that exists between the club and Atletico to bring Griezmann to Chelsea.

A bid of 30 million plus Costa would make perfect sense. And I doubt there will be any Chelsea fans that will complain if Costa leaves and Griezmann comes in.
