The Premier League is one of the toughest league titles in Europe considering the number of teams who could realistically challenge.
The top six are all good enough to challenge for the league but it’s fairly obvious that one side has run away with it this season.
Manchester City secured their twelfth consecutive Premier League win on Wednesday but despite that, Cesc Fabregas has claimed that the Blues are just waiting for them to slip up.
“Obviously when you’re in the kind of form Manchester City are in, that whatever you do, you score one, two, three, four late winners, sometimes this shows you it could be your year,” Fabregas said.
“But at the same time this is not happening in March, it is late November so it’s still early.
“Let’s see what happens. They are doing well but we have to keep an eye on the top and get closer and closer.
“We wish that they will drop points and you keep them in mind. Obviously they are at the top and we want to be at the top. We have to keep doing what we are doing, winning and winning.”
Manchester City are in incredible form right now but as Cesc Fabregas said, it’s too early in the season to judge what will happen next. If City keep up this run of form then there’s nothing any other side can do but if they don’t then Chelsea just need to keep winning and wait.
