Former Chelsea striker, Fernando Torres left a message for the Stamford Bridge fans after the match with his current side, Atletico Madrid.
He’s often regarded as the biggest transfer flop in Premier League history but many Chelsea fans remember Fernando Torres fondly.
The Spanish striker made the move from Anfield to Stamford Bridge in 2011 and scored just 45 goals for the club in 172 matches.
He rejoined former club Atletico Madrid in 2015 and returned to Stamford Bridge with his current side last night.
Unfortunately for Torres, Atletico were knocked out of the Champions League but the Spaniard left a classy message for the Chelsea fans on his official Twitter page.
“It did not happen, but we will keep on fighting,” Torres wrote, referring to his side’s hopes for progression.
“Thanks to the Stamford Bridge fans for their support, you will be forever in my heart

Fernando Torres will forever have a place in the hearts of many Chelsea fans too. The Spaniard will best be remembered for his goal at Camp Nou to secure the Blues’ passage into the Champions League final back in 2012.
