Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with Watford over the signing of 20-year-old Brazilian, Richarlison (via The Metro).

The transfer window is in full flow and with one signing already, Chelsea look ready to dip back into the market for reinforcement.

Most of the sides around Chelsea are starting to finalise deals for players and it seems that the Blues will be following suit.

Reports suggest that the club is in negotiation with Watford over the signing of the 20-year-old forward, Richarlison.

The Brazilian only joined the Premier League from Fluminense last summer but has impressed with his exciting attacking play and goalscoring talents.

It’s pretty obvious that Antonio Conte is keen on bringing in another attacking player and this story makes a little more sense than the reports linking the club with a move for Andy Carroll.

Richarlison is an impressive prospect but perhaps it is too early for him to move to a club like Chelsea. He has been an important player for Watford this year but he’s too similar to Alvaro Morata and not significantly better than Michy Batshuayi to offer much at Stamford Bridge right now.
