Chelsea and Tottenham are set to match up against each other once again in this fierce London derby at Wembley on Sunday with the first honours of the season up for grabs.

Spurs will certainly be well up for this match after performing well in recent matches in the league and comfortably beating Chelsea 5-3 the last time these two met. With nothing to lose with Chelsea being favourites to win the tie, Spurs will relax with confidence in their attempt to lift the trophy. Having said that, there will be pressure mounting up around the Spurs camp this weekend with it being their only real hope of winning a trophy this season, after being knocked out of the Europa League by Fiorentina this week. They will now be looking to bounce back.

Chelsea will also have a point to prove and revenge will be on the cards after being hugely embarrassed last time out. Boss Jose Mourinho will want to redeem any upsets from the last match and will surely not allow such a poor performance again. Mourinho will also have his heart set on winning this trophy due to it being the first honour he won during his first spell at Stamford Bridge in 2005.

Obviously the main talking point is Chelsea being without Nemanja Matic through suspension in the heart of their midfield. This big Serbian International has been hugely important for Chelsea this season and certainly one of the best performers, there will be a gap in the holding area that Spurs will look to exploit. It will likely be Ramires who will have the job of stepping up in that role and he will need to remain disciplined.

There is no doubt that both clubs want this trophy badly and it will be a tough hard fought game that will begin edgy. Chelsea will look to hold possession early and dominate the game while Spurs will also look to play with confidence and will attack that Chelsea goal. It has potential to be a great game for the neutrals.
