Chelsea are on the verge of loaning out their Brazilian winger Kenedy to Championship side Reading, that is according to multiple reports, including TalkReading.

The 23-year-old spent a successful loan spell at Newcastle last season and was wanted on a permanent transfer by then boss Rafa Benitez, however that never materialised as Chelsea reportedly (via the Chronicle) wanted £30 million to make the deal happen.
The loan-deal taking the Brazilian to Reading will be quite a coup for the Royals, who faced Kenedy in pre-season, with Chelsea winning 4-3, but the move will also likely ring in the beginning of the end of his time at Chelsea.
Details on the loan deal aren’t that detailed, but it’s proving to be a busy day of outgoings at the Blues, with David Luiz moving to Arsenal, Danny Drinkwater potentially going to Burnley and now Kenedy heading westwards on the M4 to Reading for the season.
