Chelsea will be keen to build on their morale boosting London Derby victory last weekend with a big three points up for grab against a struggling Bournemouth side on the south coast, in the Premier League on Saturday.
In the usual Premier League pre-game presser Chelsea manager Frank Lampard revealed the frustrating news that four potential starters have been ruled out (via Chelsea FC official) ahead of the trip to the Vitality Stadium;
“[Christian] Pulisic is still injured and [N’Golo] Kante is still injured.”
“[Tammy] Abraham is injured with the same problem as before. We’re trying to find a solution with him. It’s frustrating that he has come in and out somewhat but he’s injured for tomorrow. Callum [Hudson-Odoi] is another one who isn’t fit this weekend.”
Injuries will prevent Frank Lampard making too many changes to his Chelsea line up vs Bournemouth on Saturday, but there could be a swap in defence, with Fikayo Tomori possibly in with a shout for selection.
Marcos Alonso is expected to be dropped due to a change in-shape, with the team likely to revert to a 4-3-3 instead of five at the back.
Predicted Chelsea line up vs Bournemouth
Goalkeeper: Willy Caballero.
Defence: Reece James, Andreas Christensen, Antonio Rudiger, César Azpilicueta.
Midfield: Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, Pedro, Mason Mount, Willian.
