Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will be hopeful that his side can make it three wins in-a-row when they take on French club Lille in the Champions League – bouncing back from a disappointing loss to Valencia in the opening Group H fixture.
Emerson is definitely out of the Chelsea line up vs Lille on Wednesday, having picked up a thigh injury against Liverpool, and should be available again towards the end of October.
Other minor doubts ahead of the trip to the Stade Pierre-Mauroy in the Champions League are to Antonio Ruidger, N’Golo Kante, Kurt Zouma and Olivier Giroud – the latter three though are hopeful of being included in the squad, with Kante taking part in training, according to Chelsea FC Official.
CFCnet predicts that Frank Lampard will continue with the same back four that claimed a first clean-sheet of the season last weekend, meaning Fikayo Tomori and Christensen in the centre, with Marcos Alonso and Cesar Azpilicueta at full-backs.
Willian is also set to start, while Kovacic and Jorginho are likely to continue together in midfield – unless N’Golo Kante is deemed fit enough to play from the off. Tammy Abraham is once again set to lead the line for the Blues in the Chelsea line up vs Lille.

Goalkeeper: Kepa.
Defence: Cesar Azpilicueta, Andreas Christensen, Fikayo Tomori, Marcos Alonso.
Midfield: Christian Pulisic, Mason Mount, Mateo Kovacic, Jorginho, Willian.
