Chelsea and Real Madrid target Mauro Icardi is demanding a wage rise that would see him nearly triple his current package, according to The Standard.
The highly rated Argentine striker has scored 18 goals already this season and although Inter will want to keep hold of their 22-year-old starlet, they are struggling to balance the financial fair play books and could be tempted by a decent fee this summer.
Icardi is demanding 100k a week from the 34k that he is already on and is looking to price his club out of the race to keep hold of him. He is also being watched by Manchester United with Louis Van Gaal taking a keen interest in the youngster, but it is thought that a move to Madrid or London would be his preferred option.
Icardi is a former Barcelona youth player and has previously been involved in ownership dispute with Barcelona and Real Madrid, but ended up moving to Sampdoria. The natural goal scorer is now highly rated by his Nation and he has made his senior International debut recently.
