Eden Hazard has caused some alarm amongst Chelsea fans, claiming that he may not be over his injury just yet (via The Metro).

After a difficult international break for Chelsea in terms of injuries to key players, Eden Hazard may have just made things a whole lot worse.

The Belgian has only just returned to the first-team after missing the opening few weeks of the season with an ankle injury.

He has come back in a good run of form but whilst on international duty with Belgium, the winger admitted that things may not be over yet on the injury front.

“I missed football for three months, it’s not easy to come back after a big injury,” the Belgian said.

“But I worked during the summer – I just want to play football.

“I will miss some games, I will play bad for some games. I just want to play football and try to bring the best of me.”

It’s true that players often experience recurrences of nasty injuries. Hazard’s knock kept him out for well over three months and while his body gets back to 100%, a loss of form is expected. However, it’s not the best thing to hear from a player considering his importance to the team.
