Chelsea eventually rolled Malmo over 3-0 at Stamford Bridge in the Europa League (5-1 on aggregate), with goals from Olivier Giroud, Ross Barkley and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
After a slow first-half, the second showed marked improvement with the opener coming in the 55th minute from Giroud with tap-in finish. Barkley doubled the advantage at home in the 74th minute and the pick of the goals came from 18-year old Callum Hudson Odoi with less than 10 minutes remaining.
Manchester City and Tottenham are up next – will Maurizio Sarri find himself still in-charge for the Blues’ next Europa League opponent?
