Chelsea return to Premier League action with no more than a full day of rest, after a flight delay back to London, in what is shaping up to be a tricky away test for Maurizio Sarri’s unbeaten side.

The major doubt for the predicted Chelsea line up on Sunday is Pedro, who suffered a shoulder injury in the Europa League Thursday – while the Spaniard is expected to make the bench, it’s assumed he won’t make the Chelsea starting XI against West Ham.

Having rested both Eden Hazard and David Luiz midweek, both are definite to return to the starting XI and will be the fresh legs needed after a taxing trip to Greece.

Mateo Kovacic has recovered from his injury knock last week against Cardiff and will inject fresh impetus into the midfield having also missed out on the trip to PAOK.

Olivier Giroud is a notable name on the likely team sheet, having impressed last week against Cardiff, expect him to start again on Sunday. This has been made even more likely after Alvaro Morata started on Thursday and once again failed to find the back of the net.

Chelsea have won five in-a-row in the Premier League and will hope to continue winning to keep Liverpool and Manchester City working hard at the summit for another week.

Predicted Chelsea Line Up vs West Ham

Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
Defence: Cesar Azpilicueta, Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz, Marcos Alonso
Midfield: Jorginho, Mateo Kovacic, N’Golo Kante
Attack: Willian, Eden Hazard, Olivier Giroud
