Incase fans haven’t already heard Chelsea are reportedly holding talks today (Friday) with Fali Ramadani, the agent of manager Maurizio Sarri on what the club and the Italian want to decide on for next season.

There’s seemingly less appetite to push Sarri out of the club after a third-place finish in the Premier League and an emphatic 4-1 victory in the Europa League final, however Juventus apparently want him to replace Massimiliano Allegri.

Chelsea, if indeed they do hold doubts over the long-term with Maurizio Sarri, may now feel they can get Juventus to come in and pay compensation to hire the Italian, instead of sacking him and having to splash out yet another huge compensation package.

Maurizio Sarri though has been very vocal in his admiration for working in the Premier League and told the press after the Europa League final that; “I am starting to feel like this Chelsea team is mine.”

The report in the Express claims Juventus have not yet made an official approach to Chelsea for Maurizio Sarri, but are said to be willing to offer the 60-year-old a £6.2 million-a-year deal, on a three season contract.

Chelsea have never been shy in making bold managerial decisions, and while Sarri has done a great job this season in terms of silverware and league finish, there’s this creeping uncertainty around his tenure that has yet to win over many supporters.

The club’s top brass now have to make another huge decision ahead of what could be a very testing season up ahead – potentially no Eden Hazard and a transfer ban.
