New signings, and the prospect of more to come, as well as European competition, it’s all set up to be an exciting new campaign for Frank Lampard’s Chelsea who now know the full 2020/21 Premier League fixtures.

 

Announced on Thursday morning, Chelsea will be away to Brighton in the opening fixture of the new season.

The new English Premier League season starts for the Blues on September 14th, 2020, in what will be a shorter campaign with no winter break, ending on May 23rd, 2021.

While it is still too early to call, potential big decider type matches could be the trips to the Etihad to take on Man City on 8 May, 2021, Liverpool at home on the 19 September (the second game of the season).

For the London derby enthusiasts, the Blues will be taking on Tottenham, at Stamford Bridge, on 28 November, with Arsenal away on Boxing Day.

Lampard will be able to resume a rivalry with Marcelo Bielsa (during his season at Derby) with Leeds coming to Stamford Bridge on the 5 December and the trip to Elland Road on the March 13, 2021.

Chelsea will wrap up the season at Aston Villa on the final day – May 23, 2021.
