Chelsea have unveiled their newest signing – a shirt sponsorship deal with phone company Three set to replace tyre company Yokohama as of the start of the 2020/21 season – via Chelsea FC official.

The deal with the Japanese company will mark the end of a five-year association worth £200 million to the Blues.

The new contract with Three is an initial three-year contract, providing main kit sponsorship for the men’s, Chelsea Women and academy sides, as well as providing Stamford Bridge with 5G internet coverage for all fans to enjoy.

In a quote taken from the official Chelsea announcement, the club’s chief executive Guy Laurence proclaimed;

With Three, we have found a partner, who share our passion for innovation and we are delighted to have them on board and on our shirts.’

Yokohama will remain in the Chelsea family becoming the club’s ‘official tyre partner.’
