Following on from yesterdays report, it appears Chelsea have now made an offer for the German International defender Shkodran Mustafi of around £25 million. Reports state that the Blues are close to pipping Arsenal for the 24-year olds signature.

Meanwhile, another Goalkeeper backup appears to be a priority as Chelsea are allegedly close to signing Portugal International keeper, Eduardo from Dinamo Zagreb. The 33 year old has the experience wanted as a backup keeper by Antonio Conte.

Tammy Abraham in the meantime has joined Championship Club Bristol City on loan this season in what will be an excellent move for both parties. Abraham is highly rated at Chelsea and is the one standout youngster of last term.

Antonio Conte is set to keep hold of both Diego Costa and Nemanja Matic despite interest in both players with uncertainty surrounding their futures. Matic has allegedly said he is interested in going to Juventus to replace Paul Pogba and Costa as we all know has been home sick. Both apparently will stay at the Club this window at least.

And finally, Chelsea are considering making a move for Romania international Nicolae Stanciu, according to reports. The 23-year-old scored 14 times and provided 11 assists for Steaua Bucharest last season, before featuring for his country at Euro 2016.

Stanciu can play either out wide or just behind the striker, and at £6m, he is being viewed as more cost-effective addition to Conte’s squad.
