Welcome to the early weekends transfer rumours surrounding Stamford Bridge’s potential comings and goings this summer as the window approaches.
First off, an update on Liverpool’s want away winger Raheem Sterling, who is in the middle of a contract disagreement at Anfield. Many sources are stating that he will be handing in a transfer request and that the owners of his football club may well be interested in slapping a large price tag on his head and taking the money.
Chelsea are monitoring the situation here and Jose Moruinho is certainly a fan of the England International, but reports are circulating that Arsenal are also in for him and are ready to offer Theo Walcott as part of the deal.
Meanwhile, Inter Milan are moving for a Chelsea Keeper Petr Cech, who is likely to leave at the end of this season in search of a first team role, naturally for a player of his calibre. Mourinho has previously stated that Cech will only be allowed to leave for a decent amount of money and only to a team abroad, this is still looking likely as part of the terms.
Former Chelsea player Kevin De Bruyne has been linked to a move back to the Premier League in the shape of Manchester United, it’s been confirmed that no approaches or bids have been made for the player as of yet, but he is weighing up his options and a return to England could be on the cards.
