Good morning Blues and welcome to Thursday’s edition of CFCnet’s transfer news update, where we bring you the latest potential arrivals and departures at Stamford Bridge as the summer window vastly approaches.
First up, some news on Brazilian whizz kid Nathan, who has recently reported to have signed for Chelsea albeit with nothing official being confirmed as of yet. According to the players social media account, he has been to Chelsea’s training ground and met up with the staff and players as well as watching the Arsenal game at the weekend.
It has now been reported that the Brazilian Under 20 international has passed a medical and agreed terms with the Blues ahead of the expected £4.5 million deal. Nathan is expected to be loaned out straight away in a mirror of the policy Chelsea have with buying in youngsters and sending them out for first team experience when ready.
Meanwhile, Mohammed Salah has decided to take the full month he is allowed to decide on his future with Chelsea. Having enjoyed a successful loan spell in Serie A with Fiorentina scoring 7 goals from 12 matches, he is taking time to think about whether he will sign a new deal with Chelsea. The Italian club are poised to make a £16 million offer for Salah in the summer window.
Petr Cech is wanted by Arsenal and Paris Saint Germain, I’ve stated all along that I’d be shocked if he was allowed to stay in England so for me it will be France for the big goalkeepers next destination and a club of stature that he fully deserves to represent.
Yesterday there were reports of potential transfer bans for both Madrid clubs putting doubts over any moves for their players from Chelsea including Jorge Koke, who is a target. However, Real Madrid quickly denied any truth to these rumours and quashed them right away so the deal could be back on.
