Chelsea can look to a future transfer window optimistically, possibly in January, after American international and Dortmund winger Christian Pulisic has revealed, via quotes in the Guardian, that the Premier League may be his next destination.

England, the Premier League, is a league where lots of kids dream of playing so there is no reason why maybe one day I won’t play here.”

As you can see, we are having a great year at Dortmund and I am enjoying every moment of that. Then when the time comes for me to talk in the breaks about my future, then that’s when those things happen.”

Like I said before, reading these articles [about me], I tend to stay away from that stuff. I know it is going to be there but it is not my priority.”

Blues fans had a first-hand look at Christian Pulisic in the friendly at Wembley as England defeated the US 3-0, with the 20-year old going through on goal only to be thwarted by Jordan Pickford – in what looked a certain opening goal on the night.

A positive, hard-working display for Pulisic throughout on Thursday night will surely have been noted by any onlookers at Chelsea, in what was a US side looking a bit out of its depth against an in-form England side.

Liverpool are also tracking the 20-year old, while there have also been links to Bayern Munich, but the comments from Pulisic regarding the Premier League will give hope that he will be ready to move on from the Bundesliga when the time comes.

Since breaking into the Dortmund first XI Pulisic has made over 110 appearances, scoring 15 and assisting 24 times – with his BVB side currently top of the league this season and looking to win their first German league title since 2012.
