It’s apparently a done deal, whatever that deal may be it looks like Chelsea fans will have to wait a little longer to find out – Eden Hazard has finally confirmed a decision on his future has been made and the club know about it.

In quotes carried on BBC Football, Eden Hazard revealed post-match in the Premier League on Sunday that everything will be clarified shortly;

Yes. A couple of weeks ago. Yes I have made my decision but it is not just about me.”

I have made my decision, that’s it.”

The post-Europa League final fallout on May 29th could be where the decision is revealed the world with Hazard suggesting once the final ball is kicked of the Blues’ season, then the fans will know;

I think so. We have a final to play and then I will see.

I’m still waiting like you are waiting and like the fans are waiting.”

When you are on the pitch, you try to be focused on the pitch with the ball. That’s it. When I am on the pitch I just try to do the best.”

I am not thinking about this and this, my situation or the club’s situation. I just try to win games.”

The wording from Eden Hazard in saying that he is ‘still waiting’ suggests that a deal with potential suitors Real Madrid is not yet done, with multiple reports suggesting the two clubs have yet to agree on a fee around £100 million.

The 28-year old who has been with the club since 2012 has undoubtedly been one of the club’s best ever players – scoring over 100 Chelsea goals and assisting over 90 during his time wearing blue.

For now, Chelsea fans wait, but before that on May 29th in Baku Eden Hazard will step out aiming to win his and the club’s second Europa League trophy against London rivals Arsenal.
