The feeling around Chelsea is that Eden Hazard is one foot out of the Stamford Bridge door, and it’s a matter of when and not if he will push a transfer to Real Madrid.
Somewhat unwelcome are the quotes from former goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, who joined Real Madrid last summer, forcing the Blues to push the deal through.
The Belgian international spoke directly about what he wants Eden Hazard to do in the summer, potentially linking the two international teammates back together at the Bernabeu;
It would be nice of course [if Hazard joined Real], but I cannot say much about it,” Thibaut Courtois was quoted as telling VTM Nieuws via Sky Sports.
That is something he has to decide and Madrid must decide if they want him, because I do not know that either.”
But Eden is a top player and also my buddy, so if he came here it would be fun, but he has to make his choices.”
CFCnet reported quite recently stated that Eden Hazard has already made his decision, but that has yet to be unveiled (at least to the general public), and with his contract up in 2020, Chelsea have to make a decision and fast whether or not they can re-sign him to a lucrative contract or send him on his way with a club-record transfer.
