Chelsea have lifted the Europa League after a scintillating second-half display, with goals from Pedro, Olivier Giroud and Eden Hazard blowing away Arsenal – ending Maurizio Sarri’s first season on the club on a real high.

After a drab first half which saw both sides go in 0-0 and probably leaving fans wondering what kind of performance would be on display in the second half, no one needn’t had worried.

Within four minutes Olivier Giroud opened the scoring with a fabulous header, bravely going low to head past Petr Cech and starting the ball rolling for a raft of relatively quick goals.

Pedro was next on the scoresheet somewhat scuffing a shot into the corner of the goal, but the build up play from Eden Hazard.

Chelsea then went 3-0 up after a clumsy penalty gifted Eden Hazard his 109th goal in Chelsea colours, and seven minutes later he netted his 110th and probable final goal for the club.

Eden Hazard was quoted speaking to a BT Sport reporter after the game on if this was his final performance in a Blues shirt; “I think it’s goodbye,” he confirmed.

Arsenal did pull a sensational goal back when the score was 3-0 through Alex Iwobi, but nothing was going to spoil Maurizio Sarri and Chelsea’s night as the 4-1 scoreline reflected an almost perfect second-half performance.
