Kalidou Koulibaly’s agent has hinted that both he and Napoli manager, Maurizio Sarri could join Chelsea on one big condition (via The Standard).
It’s the sort of transfer which would solve a lot of Chelsea’s problems right now as the club looks to reinforce the squad and potentially replace Antonio Conte.
The Italian boss’s time at the club is surely coming to an end in the summer and there are some clear problems which need addressing on the pitch too.
Centre-back is certainly one of them and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly has been cited as a potential target.
Now, the player’s agent has spoken about the possibility of Chelsea signing both the centre-back and Napoli’s manager, Maurizio Sarri.
“There’s always a need to refresh things at a club, and that implies a change of players or staff, but I have no information about Napoli, although they certainly need to improve,” Bruno Satin told Radio CRC.
“It’s important to understand how the season will end because important players want to play the Champions League.”
So, it seems that any potential move for Maurizio Sarri or Kalidou Koulibaly would be dependent on Chelsea’s qualification for the Champions League. We can only wait and see what happens.
