Chelsea striker, Michy Batshuayi is set to join German side, Borussia Dortmund on a loan move until the end of the season (via The Mirror).
It’s been a strange transfer window for Chelsea. From the eventual move for Ross Barkley to some of the strangest rumours in recent memory.
The Blues have been linked with a dozen different strikers in the last few weeks as Antonio Conte readies a replacement for Michy Batshuayi.
Chelsea may have to move quick because it seems that a deal for Batshuayi is ready to be completed.
The 24-year-old is set to join Borussia Dortmund on loan for the rest of the season as the German club presumably finds a replacement for Arsenal target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
Batshuayi joined the club from Marseille back in 2016 and has scored 19 goals in his 53 Chelsea appearances.
However, it’s quite clear that Conte isn’t a fan of the Belgian striker which is why this story has come to pass.
Michy Batshuayi is a decent player but if Antonio Conte isn’t a fan of his then there’s very little which can be done. Hopefully, Batshuayi can have a good spell out on loan and maybe even return in the summer as a better player.
