Reports are surfacing this Tuesday morning regarding Roma’s stronghold in their attempts to keep star combative midfielder Radja Nainggolan.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Chelsea have had a second offer rejected by the club for the Belgium International, but the Blues are preparing a third offer.
Nainggolan has previously stated that he is happy at Roma, but offers from England would be hard to turn down. He is staying fairly neutral throughout, suggesting that its a tense stand off in negotiations between the two clubs as Chelsea look to add to their Belgium Internationals Eden Hazard and Thibaut Courtois.
Meanwhile, Leicester seem to be defeated to the fact that it could be difficult to keep hold of their star players with many contract buyout clauses are appearing to be coming out. Along with the Jamie Vardy story, who has apparently had his £20 million buyout clause triggered by Arsenal, allegedly midfielder N’Golo Kante has a similarly priced buyout clause in his contract and Chelsea, as well as a number of other top European clubs, are looking to activate that and negotiate with the France International.
I feel that many of these deals if they do go ahead, will not happen until after the European Championships with so many of these players directly involved and focused on that for now.
