Chelsea host Belarusian side BATE Borisov at Stamford Bridge in the third match of their Europa League campaign this season – looking to make it three wins in-a-row.

The breaking Chelsea news heading into this Group L fixture is that Eden Hazard will be the one enforced change in CFCnet’s predicted Chelsea line up vs BATE due to a back injury.

However, Maurizio Sarri told reporters via the BBC that Hazard is hoping to be available for the next league fixture against Burnley;

[Eden] Hazard is out for sure.”

He has a back problem. We are trying to solve the problem for Sunday.”

The Blues are expected to rotate and select a side similar to last time out in the Europa League against Vidi, the main question is who will get the nod to lead the line – Olivier Giroud or Alvaro Morata? The Spaniard is being tipped to continue up-front, but Sarri could go back to Olivier Giroud, who got just over 10 minutes against United last Saturday.

CFCnet are tipping the Blues to make around eight first team changes, with an entirely new Chelsea starting defence and midfield from the last league fixture. Players such as Ross Barkley, Cesc Fabregas, Andreas Christensen and Davide Zappocasta are all expected to come in to line up on Thursday.

Predicted Chelsea Line Up vs BATE

Goalkeeper: Kepa Arrizabalaga
Defence: Davide Zappacosta, Gary Cahill, Emerson, Andreas Christensen
Midfield: Cesc Fabregas, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Ross Barkley
Attack: Pedro, Willian, Alvaro Morata
