Terry currently operates on a rolling contract at Chelsea and has yet to sign a new deal for next season, although it is expected to happen soon. After receiving a Man of the Match award in the Capital One Cup Final on Sunday afternoon, he continues to prove that he is still one of the best defenders around.
Arsenal fans will certainly feel that Varane will be a starter if he decides to head to the red part of London, although he would need to compete with another country team mate Laurent Koscielny and German World Cup winner Per Mertesacker.
Manchester United would be the obvious choice for first team football as Manager Louis Van Gaal looks to rebuild in the summer and the back line is certainly something he is looking to change around.
United have almost signed the youngster before when he was at Lens and are putting the moves in place to gather up a £30 million offer for the Madrid man, that will certainly be a signing of intent from Van Gaal as he looks to turn the club around.
